Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan sudah merilis Aplikasi terkini RKAS Versi 2.0 februari tahun 2020. Melalui halaman resminya http://rkas.Dikdasmen.Kemdikbud.Go.Id/ pada hari Sabtu, 28 Februari 2020 sudah diumumkan buat pelaksanaan RKAS Versi dua.0.

Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan telah merilis Aplikasi terbaru RKAS Versi 2.0 februari tahun 2020. Melalui laman resminya http://rkas.Dikdasmen.Kemdikbud.Go.Id/ pada hari Sabtu, 28 Februari 2020 telah diumumkan untuk aplikasiRKAS Versi 2.0.
Aplikasi Rencana Kegiatan & Anggaran Sekolah yg disingkat menggunakan Arkas (RKAS) yg merupakan suatu sistem yg disediakan untuk melakukan input RKAS oleh Tim Bantuan Oprasional Sekolah (BOS).
Untuk melakukan proses input RKAS pada periode aturan tahun 2020, Direktorat Jenderal Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini, Pendidikan Dasar, & Pendidikan Menengah merilis ARKAS Versi 2.0.
Ada beberapa pembaharuan di versi ARKAS Versi 2.0 yaitu:

1. Pembaruan dari segi tampilan
2. Perubahan untuk Aktivasi BKU dari Triwulan ke Tahapan
3. Perubahan pada laporan realisasi (K7a) per Triwulan menjadi per Semester
4. Referensi untuk Kode yang menggunakan aturan juknis BOS terbaru
5. Pembaharun untuk Salin Anggaran tahun sebelumnya untuk SMA, SMK dan SLB di hapus dikarenakan berbeda total referensi kode nya
6. Pembaharuan juga pada pilihan guru yang ber NUPTK dan belum bersertifikat pada saat memilih kegiatan Pembayaran Honor Guru
7. PARKAS Versi 2.0 ada pilihan tenaga administrasi saat memilih kegiatan Pembayaran Honor Tenaga Administrasi
8. Pembaharuan juga pada pilihan pegawai perpustakaan saat memilih kegiatan Pembayaran Honor Pegawai Perpustakaan
9. Pembaruan juga pada Pilihan Honor penjaga sekolah/satpam/pegawai kebersihan saat memilih kegiatan Pembayaran Honor penjaga sekolah/satpam/pegawai kebersihan
10. Pembaharuan pada data Siswa update berdasarkan Kepmendikbud
11. Versi baru ini ada Penambahan anggaran SilPA BOS Afirmasi / Kinerja
12. Pembaruan ARKAS versi 2.0 mengakomodir perubahan sesuai mekanisme BOS reguler tahun 2020
